Jazz drummer Dave Wayne has joined Venus Bogardus for their most recent shows, including a riotous night at The Underground, Santa Fe, where they were joined by the sensational Low on High. The show at The Underground saw the band delivering new material against a backdrop of original film projections by Ant.Cinema.
The highlight of Venus Bogardus’ west coast tour this February was certainly getting to play the afterparty for the opening night of The Beebo Brinker Chronicles stage play, which made its west coast debut at Brava! for Women in the Arts, the fabulous theater in the Mission district in San Francisco.
